I impart use the word Apple to introduce the sound of the letter, and contribute the children repeat the word with me, focusing on the A sound. We will have the children find items in the classroom that have the A sound in them and then to f inish up the activity, I will let the childr! en color a picture of the letter A for them to take home with them.
